Formerly known as “Snake River Strings” and “Snake River Strings Co.” In 2025 we rebranded to “Sounds of Summit” to better represent our services. We have grown to now offer more than just string services (saxophone, piano, drums, rock, etc.), and our outreach has grown past the Snake River Valley in Idaho (to Montana, Wyoming, Utah, and nationwide!). Services we offer

Solo Musicians

From the top of the Gondola at Jackson Hole Mountain resort, to Snake River Ranch, Diamond Cross Ranch, The Amangani, and The Wedding Tree at Bridger-Teton National Forrest, we are happy to provide live music for your special event.

A solo musician can add an intimate experience for your audience. We have musicians that can provide a wide variety of music, and are open to requests. Click below to read more!

Duos & Trios

Two to three musicians is great for creating a more full sound while still staying affordable. One instrument can provide melody, with the others on accompaniment. Our musicians work together weekly and can basically read each-other’s minds at this point! They are great at feeling out the audience and knowing what song choices to play to fit the moment.

Quartets & Bands

From string quartets, to bluegrass bands, rock bands, and country bands, we’ve got you covered! A quartet and/or band is great for larger events, dancing, cocktail hours, and entertaining during dinner. You’ll see below we have a wide variety of available bands to book!
